Passer / se passer

1. The train is going to pass in five minutes.
2. We passed by the door at noon
3. I'll come (by to) see you tomorrow.

When passer is transitive and has a direct object, it means "to pass," "to cross," "to go through," and it requires avoir as the auxiliary verb in the compound tenses.

4. We need to cross the river before sunset.
5. He has already gone through the door.

6. We're going to spend two weeks in France
7. I spent 3 months on that book

8. What's going on?
9. Everything went smoothly.
10. Two days went by.
